I have not had a time in my life when I was not around dogs. It has been this love that has inspired me to help others achieve what I always have. That is, balanced dogs and a balanced home. Most people have good intentions when getting a dog. Unfortunately, for many reasons it doesn't end up that way. I have been training dogs for over 20 years and I understand not only the importance of training the dog, but also the importance of communicating clearly enough with the dog's owners so that they understand where the issue is coming from so that they can continue to work with their dog long after I have left. In effect, the owners will become the dog trainers
If there was one place on Earth that you would want to grow up as a dog, it would be the beautiful Gold Coast. With beautiful weather all year round, stunning coastal walks, lots of friendly dog parks as well as of leash beaches, there really is no excuse not go get out and about with our beautiful dogs. I am happy to work with you and your dog wherever your dog has the issue. Whether its at home, your local cafe or the above mentioned dog parks, walks and beaches, no location is too much trouble

Do not let your dog become a "velcro" dog. That is a dog that sticks to you all of the time. This creates anxiety in the dog. Create seperation between you and your dog at home so that they can learn to relax and not stress everytime you move
It is easier to wear out your dog mentally rather than physically.
A controlled slow short walk is better than a long walk where your dog is all over the place and highly aroused.
One of the best things that you can teach your dog is to go to its bed or mat. This again creates space when you are at home but also allows visitors to come and go with out being harassed
Discourage people from patting your dog if they jump up. This will only encourage this behaviour
